The Barony of Styringheim invites the rest of the known world to our fair island to stay in our camp during the Medieval Week on Gotland. The camp is strictly SCA-period (the years 600 - 1600). No mundane tents are allowed. The site is a nature reserve. We have permission to cam and have open fires. All digging in the ground is prohibited. SCA and the swedish medieval association Nordrike share site. The camp is limited to 500 persons- The camp opens Friday 1th of August at noon and closes Monday 11th of August at 2 pm. The camp is open for all members of SCA inc. and members of SCA-associations. The camp is also open for members of Nordrike and associations approved by Nordrike. Persons below 18 must have a written permission from their guardian (use this form). The site fee is 500 SEK for the whole week. After 15th of July, a late reservation fee of 50 SEK is added. If payment is done on arrival a late reservation fee of total 150 SEK is added (foreign guest may pay on arrival but must register on time). Children below 14 stays for free of they stay with their guardian. The site fee is paid to Styringheim's postal account 398 132-1. Since everyone left their camp sites clean and tidy we will not have tents deposits. The camp will be at the same location as last year, at the medieval gallows north of Visby, 800 m from the medieval market place. The restaurant O´learys will be serving breakfast and dinner every day. This year we have an all-inclusive offer. It includes site fee, 8 breakfasts and 7 dinners. The price for all-inclusive is 900 SEK, for children 345 SEK. | ||
